Marissa is a Ph.D. student in the School and Applied Child Psychology program (SACP) at the University of British Columbia. During her time in the SACP program, she has obtained extensive experience conducting complex psychological assessments and interventions. She has supported children, youth, and their families with social-emotional and behavioural challenges and neurodevelopmental differences. In particular, Marissa is a PEERS® Certified Provider who provides evidence-based social skills training to teens and their families. Kevin has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including multiple school boards, community mental health institutions, and hospitals. Kevin provides therapy and assessments for children and adolescents with a variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioural challenges, grief and interpersonal difficulties, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Kevin also works with parents to develop effective parenting approaches and strategies to help support their children.

Dr. Juliana is the clinic director and a Registered Psychologist passionate about mental health who works as a clinician, researcher, supervisor, trainer, consultant, and public speaker. Her clinical approach is grounded in research and based on individual and family Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Committed Therapy (ACT).
Dr. Juliana has extensive research and clinical experience conducting psycho-educational assessments, working with schools, and developing Individual Education Plans and school-based interventions. For many years, she conducted different studies at the B.C. Children’s Hospital that involved assessing neurocognitive and academic functioning in pediatric OCD. Also, early in her career, she worked as a school psychologist in a public school district.
